TreeToTextile – winner of ITMF Start-up Award
TreeToTextile received international recognition as one of the recipients of this year’s ITMF Start-up Awards. The ITMF Start-up Awards, presented by the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), aim to foster collaboration between start-ups showcasing innovative products or services and established companies within the textile value chain.
Hong Kong Fashion Summit 2023
Dr. Roxana Barbieru, MBA represented TreeToTextile in a panel talk about “Innovative Development in Fashion Design” at the Hong Kong Fashion Summit. The conference is focused on achieving sustainable fashion in Asia with the theme “Actions to the sustainable journey. Roxana spoke about the TreeToTextile fiber’s unparalleled environmental footprint and our challenges for further scale up.
New Chairman of the Board and new Chief Executive Officer
In conjunction with its Annual general meeting on May 29, the fiber technology developing company TreeToTextile, announced a new Chairman of the Board – Ole Terland, Senior Vice President of SCA AB, and a new Chief Executive Officer – Roxana Barbieru, Vice President of Emerging Business & Alliance Management at Stora Enso’s Biomaterials Division.
