On December 17, TreeToTextile participated in the celebration of Stora Enso’s Innovation Center’s 10th anniversary. Project Manager Robin Grankvist had the opportunity to describe how the EU LIFE TreeTex project supports the scaling up of the Alkaline Adaptation process, among other initiatives. The event attracted over 100 participants, many of whom have been closely following the development of the Alkaline Adaptation process.
With its mission Better fibers to all, Swedish-based TreeToTextile is driving systemic change in the textile industry, by providing the next-generation cellulose fibers for a resilient planet. Having the Lenzing Group as majority owner and supported by the other shareholders H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile develops renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fibers with attractive properties and low environmental impact, affordable to all. The fibers have the potential to complement or replace part of the cotton, viscose and polyester markets.
