Sustainability Talks 2024, Istanbul

Last week, our CEO, Dr. Roxana Barbieru, MBA, represented TreeToTextile in the panel discussing “Shaping Circularity: Nordic insights into the Future of Fashion and Textiles” at the Sustainability Talks Istanbul conference. After the conference, Roxana reflected on the critical conversations and shared the key takeaways:
“An important event with many valuable conversations and critical perspectives on sustainability – every perspective is essential for achieving meaningful progress. One key takeaway is the reminder of the social responsibility inherent in sustainability – ensuring people remain at the heart of transforming the global textile supply chain, as ultimately, people are the true producers of our clothing,”
Our participation in the conference was made possible by the support from the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul and Business Sweden in Türkiye.
